DC Launching WATCHMEN Prequel Series Without Alan Moore
DC Comics have announced that they will launch a new, seven issue prequel series to Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ classic Watchmen which each issue focused on a pre-Watchmen adventure by one of the key characters. Rorschach, Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl, Ozymandias, Silk Spectre and The Minutemen will each receive their own issue with writing duties to be handled by Darwyn Cooke, J. Michael Straczynski, Brian Azzarello, Adam Hughes, Andy Kubert and Joe Kubert.
Note who is not on that list.
While original Watchmen artist Dave Gibbons has apparently given his blessing to the project notoriously cranky Alan Moore has not and it doesn’t take a genius to guess what Moore’s likely response will be.I’m having major mixed feelings about this.

Se il Gran Maestro (possa sempre la sua barba essere illuminata) è così astioso nei confronti della gente che mette le mani nelle sue mutande, non desse più i diritti a nessuno, per nulla al mondo, perché sta storia di “ha preso soldi per fare il dipendente, non ha tenuto i diritti, chissà che ne penserà!?” detto con fare tremebondo, ha un po’ rotto, ecco…
